Oh, hello there! So glad you could join me on my wonderful travels of both time and space. I am your tour guide*, HyrulianGeek. I also go by Kylorian, so hopefully that doesn’t throw a big wrench into your braingears. There are not enough haikus in the world to describe how awesome video games are and can be. My favorite series, if you were not able to discern from my username, is The Legend of Zelda. I grew up on those games, and have beaten (and own) all the official games. I possess quite a few numerous systems, and while I do enjoy new games, most of my time spent playing games has been and will be on older systems.

Against all odds growing up, I did evolve into a geek. Oddly enough, in my house, that was quite the accomplishment. My dad encouraged me to play sports when I was young, and both my brother and I played some form of baseball for most of my childhood. However, my brother and I are two completely different people, and he relates to my parents more than I do. Do not get me wrong; this is not a bad thing in the least. I am very close to my family, I just sit back and wonder how this all came to be.

I suppose it all boils down to my family I chose: my friends, all of whom are geeks and nerds just like me. So when it’s all said and done, whether you want to study my life in a “nature vs nurture” experiment or just enjoy my reviews and ramblings, keep one thing in mind: where I’m going…I don’t need roads!
